GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Nov. 8, 2011) – Cantrell, a poultry and food processing equipment, sales and service company, has formed an alliance with Lonza Microbial Control Products to distribute a sanitizer system for meat and poultry plants in the United States.
Cantrell will distribute DryTec® FG sanitizer briquettes along with the MC4 series feeding systems, both of which are provided by Lonza Microbial Control’s Industrial, Commercial and Municipal (ICM) Water Treatment business, which was formerly part of Arch Chemicals.
“This is a natural complement to our extensive line of food and poultry processing equipment,” said Tony Rice, Cantrell General Manager Finance/Operations. “Hygiene is a critical part of the processing industry. DryTec® FG calcium hypochlorite briquettes are a fast-acting sanitizer and a powerful germicide capable of controlling pathogens in meat and poultry plants.”
These briquettes are a high-concentration chlorine source and, when mixed with water, become an excellent surface sanitizer. The feeding systems come pre-plumbed and skid-mounted for easy installation, and feature patented spray technology for maximum coverage and sanitation.
Cantrell leads the way in creating and supplying innovative solutions in the poultry industry to customers worldwide. With an experienced and dedicated staff, Cantrell is focused on providing the best products, parts, and service to poultry processors around the globe.
